I found fftf to be an innovative idea in concept. And you see players fighting for fumble in real life. It works okay when playing other humans but it has flaws against the computer. When playing the computer, it seems like you have the unfair edge no matter if you are on the ball first and clearly has procession of it. That is mostly due to the fact that the computer knows exactly the buttons that are going to pop up and you don't have enough reflex to change to the other buttons while everything is going on.

So who uses this feature? And what do you think about it?

Hate it turned it off after my first time seeing it, lost that fight. Got the trophy after I turned it off..

Sure its innovative, but it's too damn hard to do. I fell on a fumble with no one else around and that started and I didnt get it. Plus in reality there's no fighting for it. Whoever gets it first holds on to it. The pile just happens.

dont like it, i just dont want to bash my controller just because i fumbled...i do plenty of that when i lose

I don't use it, but I don't think it is plain stupid. It serves it's purpose in head to head play.

I like it conceptually but I don't like how they implemented it so I have it turned off. I noticed that I was consistently slow to start mashing and that led to me losing most fumbles even if I started with a large advantage. And then I just don't like button mashing in general(I could never get into the NFL 2K series because of it). If there was better implementation though, then I'd probably use it...not that I have an idea for better implementation though.

As an idea and a concept I give it an "A"

As for execution of said idea I give it an "F"

How about a little creativity in it next year, let's get some close ups on the ground, give me the option to punch or scratch a guy or poke him in the eye to try and get the ball. Maybe a button for dirty tactics or a well timed grab at the ball, get simultaneous possession and then a timing system for different button presses, anything except the button mashing. You could do a lot of things with it. They chose the easiest, cheesiest solution.
