something i noticed that could explain poor pursuit on INTs
lately i havent had as many problems with pursuit with defensive players anymore (i dont know if it was swtching from advanced to hardcore playcalling or if the patch addressed it).
however, if there is an interception thrown in the flats or near the sideline it is generally gonna go for 6 - as long as the DB can clear the inital five yards after the INT.
i was looking at the pursuit ratings for offensive players and on average they are bellow 35. there were a few players (WRs) that had ratings close to a defender (probably cos they are used on special teams), but most had pretty low ratings.
my point is that i think that might be a big part of the issue when it comes to tackling on INTs. this wasnt an issue in last gen, but there wasnt a pursuit rating of course.
