Franchise: Players Disappearing?

On my roster it shows that I have 2 TEs, 2 Cs, 4 DEs and 4 Gs. When I tried to start the first pre-season game it made me sign 1 more of each of them and then during the game my right tackle was starting at defensive end. Half of the guys on my team that were supposedly starting according to my depth chart just don't show up anywhere. Why won't my players play!?!?!

1. Be sure they aren't hurt
2. Check your 'league news' for "xxxx player is demanding a trade"

I believe the old moral (and player roles stuff) is still in there... just not displayed anymore.

1) Yeah of course I checked to see if they were injured.
2) There isn't a 'league news' there is a 'top stories' and it doesn't say anything about any of my players demanding trades or anything of that sort.

If I go to roster Breakdown it has 4 DEs. 3 of them are inactive, but not injured. That is why I have a RT starting at LE. How the hell do I make them active again?

Like pointNumberOne said, the inactive players are probably demanding trades. Other than being injured there is no other reason they shouldn't be playing.

Ok, I've never seen anyone demand a trade in this game, is there any proof this has happened?

Back to the original poster, I too have had players disappearing, but for me it's a little bit different. In the 4th quarter, both of my starting defensive ends will disappear. They're not on an injured list, they're not fatigued, they're still listed as the top guys on the depth chart, but during the actual game, it's backups. That's been going on for quite some time, but just recently, it's gotten worse.

Also in the fourth quarter, now the computer's wide recievers are disappearing. Again, no injuries, can't be a fatigue issue as it lasts the entire quarter. It really takes the fun out of the game when for the entire fourth quarter, the computer is lining up two backup tight ends and a left tackle for four wideout sets, ya know? Again, this is only happening in fourth quarters and only at those specified positions as far as I can tell.

When I play online and my opponent quits and I continue against the computer. Tony Romo will lineup at linebacker the rest of the game. How can EA not fix these silly glitches?
