Show or no-show?

I felt that the extra point halftime and post game shows were a definite step in the right direction and seemed like it was well recieved overall. Have we not seen or heard anything about it because they pulled the plug on it? Or maybe (hopefully) because they tweaked it and are expecting to give us a nice presentation surprise?

Re: Show or no-show?

To be honest, the "Extra Point" show was so poorly implemented in Madden 10, they really had only 2 options - 1.) To revamp it with deeper features, or 2.) Dump it entirely.

In the E3 videos I saw, there was no Halftime Show at all. But it's possible they don't have it for Exhibiiton Games. Who knows.

I would like to know too - but EA seems to have a new bunker-mentality and are not telling us much this year. So chances are we won't find out until the final game is reviewed.

Re: Show or no-show?

As of right now we don't know what is going on with halftime show and all. We don't know if it is in this year are not. I guess we want know until the final version of the game has come out. For now it is a mystery pretty much unless Ian comes out in a blog explaining what is going on with it. But I doubt that is going to happen. But it is a wait and see game now with that.

The Extra Point show was painfully bad in M10. WOW....

If it is the same then I hope they give you the option to skip it.

In 10 you had to hit y to watch it. So you could just move on to the next week without ever watching it. My guess is if they have it again it would be the same.

Re: Show or no-show?

Never saw the weekly highlight show. Guess it's useful to some people, but when I sit down to play a game I'd rather spend time actually playing than watch some fake highlights.

I also would like a faster way to skip through the highlights in the games. Too many button presses to skip ahead.
