Madden ratings dilemma

The easiest fix to player ratings in my opinion is just to completely get rid of them and replace them with a letter grade system. Hiding the ratings completely wouldn't satisfy some obsessive grade gurus but a lettering system will help create a dichotomy between realism and the desire for visible ratings. Give elite players an A+ to A,great or good players B+ to B-, average players C+ to , etc. Keep the specific data under the hood and have player progression soley based on production on the feild. This is not only more realistc but it will end this rating bickering among fans, devs and players.

I would like them all hidden but maybe a grade after scouting. Definately do away with the current system. Very few people like having an overall rating.

Edit: Just thinking about what a big deal they make about revealing player ratings I don't think either of us will get our way. Can't slow down the hype machine.
