Receiver Fake?

So I was playing the demo, and browsing through the options and such just messing around. Went into the controllers, QB controls, and noticed that LT was "receiver fake". I had no clue what "receiver fake" was... so the next couple of plays I was hitting LT to see if anything happened, and nothing.

Anyone know what this does?

It's a WR specific pump fake. LT then whatever button is above your WR.

I had a play where I pumped to a receiver on the left and then hit Greg Jennings over the middle on a post route for a TD.

I thought 'Hey, that worked. Cool!' but when I watched the replay to check the effect of the pump fake I didn't see any defender move in the wrong direction or anything. I just hit Jennings between the two safeties.

So I'm not positive it does anything against the CPU anyway. It might be more effective against a human opponent who is controlling a DB.

Pump-faking is not a guarantee.
