I had a game where this was asked 6 times. Died laughing each time. Where are Dan and Keith from 2k5 when you need them. Say what you will about that game, but the commentary was way ahead of Maddens, and is still ahead of Maddens this many years later.

It was either Extremegamer or Footballdetails who summed up the commentary perfectly via Twitter. It was something to the likes of:

"It's like the commentary team quit mid-cycle."

That's exactly how it seems. I just don't understand how it got worse.

I use 6 teams in my franchise, and theres something funny for all of them to me

Browns: Phil Taylor is called Ryan Taylor

Falcons: I got a pick with Brent Grimes, and Gus said something about how he is one of the top wide receivers in the game today.

Raiders: I missed a FG with Janikowski, and Gus and Chris started talking about his weak leg........

Lions: my favorite one. After Calvin Johnson caught the ball, Gus Johnson goes into his "They call him.... MEGATRON!" speal, and then next play he catches it, and Gus says "#81 with the nice grab". You just went off about him and now you call him #81??!?!?! Also, he has called Johnson a QB a billion times.

Redskins: I have Jonathan Stewart in my franchise on the Skins, and I remember they called him #33 once, and he is #21in my franchise. Also, I signed TO, and Chris said something about his inexperience lead to him dropping the pass.

Bills: Cant say I remember anything specific to a player for the Bills on here.
