Sooooooo it sounds like when you create a coach you're stuck with the previous coache's scheme and all the current players on your team are locked into that scheme player type and the only way to change your scheme is by trading and drafting players that match the scheme you're switching to?

That would be really bad if you had to gut your team just to switch to a different scheme.

To the folks saying this mode is 'just like HC09 but without editing #s and positions' this is another difference for sure...

Hopefully there is a way to change your scheme without gutting your roster. However, it should also come with a significant ratings decrease across the board. A lot of teams don't execute well running a new scheme for the first year or so.

Re: Connected Careers Running Diary

Good read...Hopefully three major coaches dont get fired the first year in the connected careers(franchise). especially since they had decent years before that...Actually I guess it is only two since Shanahan is being replaced by the create a coach. (But still for both Tomlin and Reid to be fired isnt good.

I am glad to see cut days are back in.

Wish he would go into more detail on what the XP packages actually entail

Very good read. Love the fact you can manually progress your players.
