In Madden 12 with custom playbooks you could set up your defense to match the offense e.g. nickel package for 3 receiver sets etc.

When i did this i always used the "ask Madden" option to select a play when on defence. Now that we have no custom playbooks if a i chose "ask madden" will my defence mirror the offense or will it give me a base defence or goaline defence when facing say 4/5 recievers?

Any ideas.... I know I'm lazy for not selecting a play but with custom playbooks I knew I was getting goaling vs 5 wide!!
