trying to progress a rating to mid 90s is very costly

hi, i'm trying to get a running back, like Johnathan Stewart, to progress his Truck rating to mid to high 90s. he's at 93 right now. but, if i recall, each single Trucking point costs over 100,000 XP.

it seems that once an attribute is in the low 90s, it's impossible to buy into that elite space of mid-90s and above.

i have simmed a season (just play playoffs) and gotten between 25,000 XP or so to about 50,000 for my QB. at that rate, it could take me multiple seasons just to buy one single trucking point.

is anyone having any luck buying their way from the low 90s to the high 90s for a specific attribute they want improved, or is it impossible?

thanks.

Are you playing online or offline? I remember when I started an offline that I felt increasing ANYTHING would take forever. I just moved Demarcus Wares fmv to 99 and it cost under 20000. That was on my online.

Simming generally gives less xp in my experience, and you have to remember to do training drills, as they can amount to some 30-40% of your xp gain, depending on the position. Also, most weekly goals include some rather simple, like a RB needing 2 receptions to score 600+ xp, make sure you aim to achieve such goals. Also, the further you progress, the more milestones you can achieve, landing more xp.

Some key attributes are very expensive to raise, for a RB things such as speed, acceleration, trucking, stiff arm and so forth. It's to prevent people being 90-95 in multiple categories. So if you really want to aim for 95-99 in any given key attributes, it's going to cost you.

sorry, by practice I should have said "offense, or defense" to get the base points for all players on your team, I think you get 1200 or so for even backups
