The Dallas Cowboys: moving Tony Romo and starting anew

So has anyone tried to move Romo for anyone interesting? If so, please share.

It seems as though the best course of action may be to unload him for another squad's high draft pick (and a wideout or other position of need) and roll with Vince Young/Kellen Moore/Mallett for one season before targeting a marquee QB prospect in the draft.

I'd love to hear opinions from others.

Why would you trade Romo? He's who keeps the offense together.

This seems to assume the Cowboys are in rebuilding mode, which they're not.

Or, that he likes the cowboys, but like Bill Parcells, never warmed up to Romo so wants something different.

in real life? yes the Cowboys need to move on from Romo.

in the video game...na I'd keep him, he is mobile and they don't take his cautiousness passes late in games into consideration.

I don't think this question deserves it's own thread, but this post made me think of it. Has anyone been able to get anything for Vick? All I've been able to get was a 2nd and 7th at best.

Mmm, not sure where that comes from. Jerry was opposed to benching Bledsoe midseason to begin the Romo era, while Jerry thought the team was packing it in for the season by promoting Romo.

And Parcells was willing to make tough roster choices in order to find room to stash Romo as the 4th QB on his regular season roster years earlier because he liked him too much to risk losing him by trying to sneak him onto the practice squad (compared to Jerry who has lost guys like Matt Moore because he couldn't even make a tough choice on keeping a 3rd QB, and got burned by rolling the dice and cutting guys the team knew had a future).
