I realized, however, that all of them have regressed in OVR since the start of my CCM. White has dropped from 95 to 90 and the rest are all in the 80s. Green is actually an 88 after starting somewhere in the 90s and Bryant is still an 86, which is what he started as. It seems ridiculous to me that young WR's with as much potential as Bryant and Green would be in the mid 80s.

So I look around the NFL and I see only the following WR's are 90s:

Calvin Johnson - 90 (WTF?!?!?)
Desean Jackson - 93
Percy Harvin - 91
Greg Jennings - 91
Roddy White - 90
Victor Cruz - 90
Santonio Holmes - 90
Wes Welker - 90
Mike Wallace - 90

There just seems to be no actual progression going on here. Some of these guys should be high 90s by now. And this is just WR...a quick glance around the league shows me that no QB's who started the CCM rated below 90 have advanced past 90 except Andrew Luck.
the overalls are different for every player. the jets would see harvin as a 95 ovr in their scheme while the dolphins would see havin as an 80 ovr in their scheme. that's why they seem to be lowly rated

it's not just the scheme..it matters what type of receiver you prefer in your scheme...
when it matches the type that has been set for that player...his ovr will go lower or higher dependent upon those stats which are more highly coveted by those types of players.

I have 3 TEs who are all Vertical Threat types. When I change my scheme for TEs to Vertical Threat, the overall actually goes down on 2 of the 3 players. I can't figure it out.

I have mine set that way, and it still allows me to progress my guys whenever I like (I prefer to bump rookie AWR a couple times in season, etc.) but the CPU does it at the end of the year and guys really go up...

Like RGIII / Luck esp. went waaaay up due to this setting...

I'm not sure what the thread link for this is, but there was at least one or two that camr to this conclusion after in depth testing...
Im not 100% sure about this. Think cpu progressing and how its use his xp is just broken or compleetly wrong inplented by ea.

I had progression on end of the year the first three seasons and it looks like that the cpu only spent it on treats the cpu just gets the most expensive one. So it most likely will get the consistancy treat and bullrush and so. And spent the little thats left on some attributes.
When i set it to every four weeks i saw attibutes go up like awerness and cit and throw acc and stuff.

Also the cpu doesnt have as many xp as the user. Sim a season and youre players will have way less xp then when you play.
Ea just needs a big overhaul on how xp is earned for both cpu and user and make it more balanced

Or get rid of it and put a real progression system in.

Very interesting. Will fix this the next time I play.

I have had this occur at times. Changed my team's running style to suit Gore and he went down. Did the same for my O line.

yea its bad

its like computer cant progress his players in any reasonable manners

especially position like WR and CB, all computer generated players cant go higher than 86+

after 7 years ( all current players retired) league has only not-so-stellar players

not fun at all...

Re: CCM: Do players on other teams actually ever PROGRESS??

Has this system worked for anyone or has anyone heard of it working for others? Im only in year 2. I just made the switch from Madden 12 to 13 not so long ago and its pretty discouraging to see all these post about the progression system not working.

Even in my second year, I am beginning to see some things I don't like.
