Online Play Laggy and Oozing with Cheese

Just booted up the quickmatch online a couple of times and got some very frustrating lag. Did a quick search on Google and it seems that a lot of people are having this issue. Sparing you the details, it's not my connection. Maybe the opponent has a bad connection, I don't know, but the lag problem is all over the internet already and I'm just wondering if anyone has had similar issues or knows of a coming fix. There is no excuse for playing Madden 25 Online at something like 10 FPS.

Also... Per usual the online play is filled with God forsaken cheese. Cheese everywhere. I know it's just a game but are there any OS communities where there are some slider settings or players who aren't going to spam read options and hail mary's?

Yea, sorry. Should have specified. X360. I finally got a game in without any lag and my opponent quit in the 4th quarter. What a letdown.

The value of having a group of good guys is huge. I dont play Madden but the Show n it's the nature of the beast. When you play randoms you never know what you're gonna get.

I've had two laggy games out of 11 games.

Doing read option and hail Mary's don't make it cheese.

If that's all they doing, then it should be easy to stop or contain.

Not that you can't stop it but running Hail Marys and read options is definitely cheesy play.

Yea. You definitely missed the point. I didn't say it wasn't easy to stop but running the same play over and over again is the definition of cheese my friend.

This game is damn good when you play guys who keep it real. I play exclusively online and all of my games have been very fun, In fact, the more I play online the more I;m starting to appreciate the game...Far from perfect but a solid game.

BTW The settings I use are All-Madden, Normal Speed

To the original poster: Find yourself some friends that know and respect the game and your online experience will be very satisfying
