Why am I getting glued/stuck/sucked in to players

The hit detection sucks in this game. Every time I try and blitz or run the ball my guy gets sucked into a vortex and gets attached to the opposing player like a fly into a fly trap.

If I try and outside blitz with my linebacker and avoid the line entirely the minute I get within a few feet of a defender my linebacker immediately gets attached to the defender even if the guy is going in a completely different direction or my linebacker magically falls and trips

I havent played Madden since 2002. You're trying to tell me EA still hasnt fixed this?

Actually they fixed in 13 there was hardly any of that like it is now and its annoying as heck too!
