Relocation Glitch

I've heard some people discussing the relocation glitch, where the game freezes during some draft after one has relocated and takes them back to rookie signing. The game is then unplayable and you have to restart your CFM. I was wondering what were the exact details of the glitch and how you can avoid it. Is it only online, offline, or both? Is it only when I relocate or can it also occur when the CPU relocates? Should I just turn off relocation at beginning of my CFM to ensure I don't encounter the glitch? Thanks guys.

I relocated my team to London and I haven't had any problems, I'm several seasons into my CFM.
