Online Gaming Killer App

Great Idea:

I’m sure I’m not the first one to write about this but I think the killer app, at least for now, for online gaming is multiplayer franchise. Basically you and a buddy could play through a franchise together using your own teams while the CPU plays the rest.

I’m all for online leagues but until the inherent problem of people not playing their games is solved I’d just be content to play my franchise the way I always do but with a couple other user controlled teams.

Any thoughts?

I vote for 32-user franchises. That would be mad hot.

Then there could be settings with allowing trades and all that jazz. That would be mad hot. Or you could just use the rosters on the server all the time for the entire franchise.

yea, that would be sick if they have franchise online, leagues are not worth it, i joined like 7 madden leagues and the furthest any of them got was week 5, but franchise, will be awesome

I like the idea of a full 32 team franchise with anywhere from 2-32 human controlled teams. You could play your games against the CPU online so there's no cheating. You could have the CPU take over teams if someone quits until you can find a replacement. It will be a great day when that finally gets here.
