This may sound dumb but, the collectors edition is a fully playable Madden 2005, just with the extra stuff right? I dont want to buy it if its just the extras and now a full version of this years game as well.

n/m I found what I needed to know, also on the EA site it has a video clip of the classic madden games, the old games have updated rosters! at least from what I could tell.
