How do you change a players postion please Help!

I asked this same thing this morning.
Change Position

Because I swear I read that you could change players like in NCAA, but ive yet to find anything.

depth chart? i moved a ROLB to LOLB on my DC

In FA you can go and change a player to another position, but not once you sign them.

So I guess its like the old way of DC.

Go into edit player information.

Why cant you edit some players though?

J.Peterson is grey, so that you cant edit his position.
Same with T.Perrish, J.Wilborn.
But then you can edit D.Smiths position

Because you can only have a certain amount of players at each position probably too many of what your changing to!

I haven't checked it out yet, but from the little time I had with he game last night, I think it may have to do with the depth chart. Try making Peterson 2nd or 3rd string and then edit.
This is only an (un)educated guess, but I do know that when you change a position the cpu updates the depth chart.
