Have they fixed the problem with pulling guards and centers not getting out to block? And how is the inside run blocking?

There are some jam up issues when running inside.

There are also some issues of edge blockers not picking up anybody at all.

Run blocking is the weakest part of the gameplay.

I'd agree. Pulling lineman pull like they're supposed to. They just don't know who to block.

On one play, a pulling lineman ran clear to the sideline with no defenders in sight while I got laid out by an LB.

Some plays they block very well and some they run right by or completly miss. For 3 years now I have yet to see my guard pull on a sweep from the ace formation.

On a postive note though the WR's block alot better this year.

so many times I see the line men engage a defender and then just stop blocking them. its pretty frustrating.

its a mixed bag man but it is definitely sweet when the run blocking is on...the g's really blow guys up...fb's as well if you've got a guy like a tony richardson. Inside gets jammed up pretty good so it's hard to get anything goin in the middle. But when you do hit whole and get a big gain its very rewarding. I'm surprised I don't see the rb run through guys in Madden like I see in nfl2k5 on inside runs....this is one area where madden could have actually used some clipping (graphical clipping) :y4:
