How many DEFENSIVE Pre assignment HOT ROUTES are there??

Im just curious....prior to the snap, you can hot route a player with the following....
push UP to send him back into a zone coverage

Push Left to QB SPY?

Push RIght to cover FLATS?

Push down to Blitz ( red )

Push down a second time and its also a Blitz ( black )

why does the arrow turn black the 2nd time you pull the stick down....whats the difference?

Also, is there a way to hot route a player to cover a certain player so if I want to hot route a quick double coverage on a player, can I do this?

When its black it means the player is going to try to contain the quarterback its useful if ur playing against vick or another scrambler

Yes, but only if you have a safety in zone coverage. So, if you're playing Cover 2, you can double cover 2 guys. Press the coverage audible button, the symbol (triangle, X, Y, L, R, whatever) of the guy you want to double cover and then "right" and it'll double cover the guy. Did you lose your manual or something?
