Revisiting 2k8 and 2k9

When they came out, reviews were average at best. Plus, Sony's games were becoming popular and the new standard. Now, coming back to them all these years later, I must say there are a lot of things that I am enjoying more than even the newest iterations of The Show, which has become a little stale over the last few years in terms of innovation. Don't get me wrong, there were issues. Still are, but playing them on my computer 15+ years later, the graphics and frame rates are now improved. There was always a fun and immersive game under the hood. But it was often overlooked because of those shortcomings. If you have a somewhat powerful PC, do yourself a favor and play them again. You'll appreciate how much better they now look and play.
