Another good vid. This game is looking very promising and I have high hopes. I actually thought the celebrations were pretty cool. They looked like playoff type celebrations as opposed to reg season game hand slaps which I think last years game had.

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 - Signature Style Trailer

I am seeing a lot of progress, 2K has been working hard! The animations are 100x better and the 'signature style' alone will be worth checking out the game. They are finally paying attention to the little things which baseball fans appreciate. Here would be my list of things which are off but could easily be fixed with a little bit of time:
The front uniform numbers are still too small
The yankee uniforms appear to be using the wrong font
The crowd should be cheering when the home team hits a homerun/is rounding the bases
The 'fat' bellies are too rounded
The Indians logo on top of the scoreboard is squashed
The helmet highlight is too extreme; it should be more of a white dot highlight. The amount of shimmer they are using makes it look almost metallic
The mound dirt should have footprints (at least where the pitcher is planting his foot and where his front foot is landing)

I can't wait to see more.

Going with the squished Indians logo, I see they still haven't updated the Jacobs field scoreboard, they still have the one from 3 years ago up there. Oh well.

Its interesting to me when someone critiques a game and totally overlooks GAMEPLAY...If those are your only issues with the game you should consider yourself lucky because its all about GAMEPLAY.

I mean how many times have any of us played someone head to head and thought:

1. This is crap...The Yankee font is all off!

or

2. Those damn beer guts are too big

or

3. WTF!!!...The numbers on that jersey are just too damn small!!!

or

4. Where in the dangblasted hell are the mound footprints???..THis is BS

Ya get my drift..My point is that if my complaints are the same as your I will consider myself quite lucky....lets just hope that the only issues are cosmetic.

I agree, gameplay is first. But...what else can anyone criticize right now? Nobody's played the game so nobody can critique gameplay. He's just making some observations. Nothing was rude either. He's been on these boards for a long time...he wasn't blastin the game at all.
