Lightbulb Living Rosters: Added Animations?

Since this is the same Living Rosters feature used by VC in NBA 2K9, one of the great advantages to having this feature in their basketball game was the ability of the developers to add new animations into the game. Maybe they wouldn't be able to add too many substantial animations that could affect the overall gameplay, but maybe they could use this feature to update batting stances? I was just thinking about this right now and I wish I would have remembered to asked the developers during the Q&A session because this could solve a lot of issues some of you were having with (allegedly) incorrect stances.

Yes good point. I know this is done in NBA2K9, it would be nice to see added/fixed animation for batting stance's and pitching motion's and maybe for double plays

Re: Living Rosters: Added Animations?

That would be funny if they did weekly announcements of updates like Rock Band.

Quote:
Hey folks! This week's batting stances will come to you on Xbox Live on Tuesday and PSN on Thursday. The following stances, all $1.99 each, will be included:

- Jay Bruce
- Matt Murton
- Gerald Laird

SCRAP PACK ($5.49)

Buying these will include these players' third tier playing cards as well.

Check back soon for next week's stances!

Haha, Blzer that would indeed be great. Another thing I was just thinking about was the 2K Insider that is used in NBA 2K9 as well. They have a whole website dedicated to him communicating directly with the fanbase and getting opinions on ratings changes and animation additions. I wonder if this baseball game will get the same treatment?

You would think they have 2k insider, at least i hope they do. It is supposed to be the same setup as NBA2K9. I think the franchise guy that did the NBA game did the baseball game as well

Re: Living Rosters: Added Animations?

I love this feature with NBA2K9; it really keeps the game fresh seeing new animations. Although I'd guess there would be the same problem with the community generated rosters that will eventually come, where people complain they want the ability to somehow import those new animations into their personal rosters.
