Yup, it is.

The PS3 patch will the a combination of the 1st and 2nd 360 patch.

(Same goes for when the PC patch eventually drops.)

I didn't wait to start my franchise like many others. After being burned last year on Madden, and earlier by mlb 2k9, I figured I may as well start my games now. There is no telling what new bugs might crop up after the patch.

And there is no telling if the new patch will fix the big issues.

I'm patiently waiting for the patch notes. I hope they come out soon.

So I started my franchise with the Rays, and I'm in mid-July. After the 2nd patch is released, does anyone know if I'll have to re-start an entirely new draft? Or will the potential changes work with the already existing franchise?

They should work on pre existing franchises. Reason I believe this is because the 1st patch fixes worked on my franchise that I had going on.

Generally speaking, when actual game mechanics are changed there's no way that it wouldn't effect every part of the game. There's very few changes I could think of that would not effect a franchise that's already been started.

1st patch didn't corrupt existing franchises, so you should be fine. Same was true last year, and the year before I believe as well.

They better fix the hurry up baseball. Take away the swipes between batters and pitchers..This is BS if they don't fix, I will continue to play the show. I havent dl any patch bc they didn't really do anything except check swing and I dont use it that much if at all

well, you're missing out then because they also reduced the jaggies quite a bit in the first patch, fixed the player of the game, improved the AI pitching management, etc.

I'm sure it's going to be good. I hope it's something like the last nba2k10 patch which was huge and a game changer. Since they took a while to release the patch I hope it's an indication of something good.

Yes, I agree. There are so many little issues and only a few major ones.

The patch has been sent to QA for a while now, though, so it isn't like the longer we wait the better patch we get. The patch has been finalized for a week.... I'm just anxious to get the notes.
