A lot of mine have to do with franchise mode.

The one big gameplay issue I can think of off the top of my head is the very few amount of errors.

The CPU ONLY uses the 60 day DL. Thus, you will see plenty of players just sitting on the DL without an injury. *Someone at the 2k forum said that he saw the cpu use the 15 day DL, but it's only for injuries under 15 days. Anything over 15 days the player will be put on the 60 day DL. Although when players are injured for 70 days, then come off and have 10 days left they'll be put back on the 60 day DL again. So I'm still not 100% sure if there is or is not a 15 day DL.

The cpu does not know how to control a roster. They love to carry 14 positon players and 11 pitchers, or 15 and 10 before you do the workaround. That makes the guys in the pen gassed, and when you face them in game they are easy to dominate because their stamina is really low before they even face on batter. *Thanks to Jm0ney2001, I learned that with "edit cpu rosters" turned on you can send down/call up players for cpu teams. So this one isn't really an issue for me anymore.

The cpu will not make trades unless you simulate, and I play all my games so the cpu will never make a trade in my franchise.

Fatigue does not work right. DH's fatigue the same as a position player, which is just not right. If you pinch hit a player, he will lose fatigue and not regain any for sitting on the bench all day long. So basically we are forced to have a short bench when sitting a player, or just not have him recover any fatigue.

You can't see potential in the draft, the cpu can.

Just got the game off my buddy on the pc because he thought it was crap and went and got the show 10 for ps3, anyway....

wtf this is like NBA 2k10 dejavu...seriously.
its the same bugs NBA had practically.
at any rate the PC patch won't be out until july ish

That funny, because all the work around s to do in The show this year was one of the reasons why I didn't care for it this year.

Not really patch related, but for those of you who don't follow ronnie on twitter:

had his appendix taken out last night, out of the office all week.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this means no more news this week...er... no news this week.

I had my appendix removed when i was 16 on a Friday and returned to school the following Monday so i don't see why he couldn't at least provide some more information on the Patch.......unless theres nothing new to report.

I really hope this patch comes soon, I've set down the game until it gets here. I don't see any reason to finish my season now if the drafted players freeze doesn't get fixed, or the fatigue issues don't get fixed(where when you pinch hit a guy, he loses fatigue despite sitting on the bench for all but that 1 AB). A lot of the small issues have just built up for me, and while I think it is a good game I'm really losing interest.

With that said, I think this game was a great step in the right direction, and if they listen to us and actually fix the issues in this game then it has a bright future IMO.

They probably gave him the rest of the week off. They dont want him coming to work to soon, if he gets sick somehow, then 2k may be held responsible. I dont really know how that all works. I am going to see if i can get a hold of him tomorrow or someone else from 2K and see whats up.

I had my appendix taken out 4 years ago, felt like **** for 4 days, and was back in the hospital for another week after they found an infection.

They aren't going to expect him back for a few days and I don't blame them.

Never know if it ruptered or exactly how bad of shape it was in, I had mine taken out, but considering I ended up in ICU for 3 weeks afterwards due to blood clots in 2006, I can't exactly speak on a timeframe myself, though.

Yeah, Ive pretty much put this game down for now. I dont feel its worth putting time into a franchise with all the issues that have come to light.

For off-line franchise mode's sake I hope they at least fix;

-Generated rookies freezing.
-Severe regression of pitchers.
-The 99 fatigue recover bug for pitchers
-And lastly, FA signings.

These things just make franchise mode so goofy (and freezing) after season 1 or more.

IMO; franchise mode is nothing better than a single season mode in its current state.

I scrapped my XBOX 360 and 3 games (including MLB2k10) for PS3 and MLB the show brand new....

it was the best decision I ever made. Baseball season will soon be half over and we're still waiting on a patch?

I gave 2k so many chances. Finally I had enough.

It was handed off on to Sony and MS on May 7th. If all goes well maybe we'll here something as early as this weekend but I won't be holding my breath.

Yup, those are two other big reasons why I put it down. I did not put them in my last post though, because I highly doubt they'll be addressed in the patch. Maybe the errors will, but I don't see the injuries getting put in. I'd love to be wrong though.

Even if errors are put in they'll be severly lacking. This game does not recognize the ball being overthrown and the game ends the play if it is, so those will almost surely not make it. I've never seen a ball bobbled by an infielder on a grounder, or even seen someone report that they've seen one.

Like I said, I've love to be wrong, but I'm doubtful right now.
