Achievements not unlocking

Hey im a new guy to the forum and i purchased MLB 2k10 a couple of weeks ago. I have been mostly playing My Player and i noticed none of the XBOX 360 achievements were unlocking for me ("The Start" and "The Call"). I read online that if you ever quit in the middle of a game (i guess like going to the dashboard during the game) then it would taint the file and you couldnt get any achievements. So i restarted a new player and i never quit a game or messed with the sliders (i only changed the pitcher fatigue but it never prompted the "Disabling means no achievement" response), but when i got my player to 65 sure enough no achievement!! Can anyone explain to me whats going on? The help would be very appreciated.

Also, didnt the first patch fix unbelievable pitch counts bc in My Player it doesnt seem affected?

I'm pretty sure that you have to play on default settings for achievments to unlock.

so does that apply to the pitcher fatigue as well, i mean it never popped up saying it would disable achievements??

The pitcher fatigue slider shouldn't effect achievements. All the gameplay sliders need to be set at Pro or harder.

As for the fatigue thing with pitchers, it isn't fixed yet.
