HUGE PROBLEM WITH LINEUPS AFTER SPRING TRAINING!!!

With all the great work that knight and his team did on the rosters to make sure all the lineups are spot on, its seems like all his hard work is for not as after spring training, once you start your season all of the lineups are screwed up. Does anyone know a work around to fix this HUGE PROBLEM. I really don't want to have to go in and edit all 30 teams lineups, that could take hours. If anyone knows how to alliviate this problem, it would be much appreciated.

I read in another thread that we are pretty much SOL in this department. From all that I've gathered, on the LAST DAY of Spring Training, you have to send guys down (on every team, yes MANUALLY) to get to a 25-Man roster. Otherwise the CPU (regardless of LINEUPS: set to MANUAL) will make its own adjustment...against or will.

I'm keeping hopes up for an easier solution because essientially, we have to obtain copies of ALL TEAMS Opening Day (25-Man) rosters to achieve our goal of realism. Here we go! Please chime in if you have another solution...MAYDAY!!! Thanks in advance!

does this only mess up the non controlled team. My User team wont be messed up if i do it myself right.

What if u have a created profile for every team and a 30 team controlled chise with everything on manual?

If any one can confirm whether assigning a bogus profile to the other 29 teams corrects this, then let's find out...brb

I think the best way to get around this is to go into rosters before you start your franchise and REDUCE all 40 man rosters to the 25 man active roster...

I haven't tried this yet, but it fits into the logic.

If I control the line ups from all the other teams, do I also have to change the line up when they are tired, because than it would be to much to do

I updated all guys who started the year on the DL in my IN SEASON THREAD. Otherwise from what I can tell, you have to use Yahoo.com to see what the opening day 25 man rosters are and send the other 15 men down, for all 30 teams. Then I believe you'll have to set all the line ups for the teams' minor league squads (although there might be an option to let the CPU do that but I am not sure)

that's what I was thinking too. It wouldn't be that hard to do either. Can someone test this out?

The thing is, even if you go through and send people down to aaa or aa who are there in real life, if they are out of minor league options they will have to clear waivers. For instance, everytime i send bedard down to the minor leagues (hes on the DL till June) it sends him to waivers first and some team always claims him. Ugh!!!

hmmm I haven't looked but did you try putting Bedard on the DL? (which is where he really is) and also, if you have control over all 30 teams, does the cpu make claims still or don't you still have to do that? Im not sure to be honest

I answer this question at least once a day, adjust 25 man rosters and put waivers and trades to manual for the first couple weeks
