This is too scary of an issue to let slip down. A lot of time is put in building your player.

It's definately not the patch. Mine crashed before the patch even started. I'm thinking it may have been because of a roster download or something. Not sure. Hopefully one of the programmers can respond to this thread and let us know what might be causing this to happen.

I PM'd the Russell guy, never heard anything though. I hope he passed it along.

I'm in 2010 right now,but still in April. I'm really nervous about the coming September.

I was reading some of the posts in the "Official Road to the Show Thread". Some of those guys are in there 3rd seasons and haven't had the problem yet.

Not quite a crash, but the associated inability to progress past a certain date.

I started up an RTTS with a SP in the Detroit farm system. Currently at the AA level. They have me assigned to the bullpen, and I've actually been able to play in maybe 5 games so far with good results.

However, as of April 18th, 2009, as I try to "sim to next appearance", it just goes to that date/matchup and sits there. Can't do anything unless I "circle" button a few times to back out. I did just train and achieve both of my fielding progression goals just prior to the save - just adding that in case there's any pattern that can start to be developed on what's causing these associated issues.

I at least haven't crashed or had the PS3 restart.

80 GB version, just purchased last week. Fresh 1.6 system update and the game patch it auto-downloads. Resetting, restarting, taking disk out, etc. - nothing works. Going back in to that saved game always leads to same "stalling" on the schedule screen with absolutely NO ability to get beyond it.

I'm using downloaded rosters from the online "locker" - I think the ones that were maybe the bottom of the first page, sorted by #'s of DL's - March 8 rosters or something like that.

I'm afraid to start over, even with vanilla rosters - I don't want to spend another 3 hours (or more - as others have spent) only to have this happen again just when I'm starting to develop.

Any word on a fix to this or that the devs are aware/looking into it would be appreciated.
