I cannot turn a double play on a grounder hit to short or second in the retail version of 2011. I dont know if it's a stadium thing, but i had three concecutive DP chances using the Orioles and all three times I got stuck in the toss annimation and the player would throw the ball. This happened Orioles vs Nationals at Nationals Park.

are you preloading throws?

If so, are you doing quick toss(not holding down the button)

I just looked at all of the replays and it looks like im doing quicktoss, because you can see the player attempt to toss everytime i pushed the button.

Hmmmm......I know its not the stadium because I've played there since getting the game and didn't have any issues with turning a double play.

Could it be that you're pressing the button repeatedly with throw cancellation on thus maybe "starting and stopping" your throws?

If you have throw canceling on the ball must leave the fielders hand before you press again for the next throw. If you do not the throw will be cancelled.
