pulse pitching revisited

anyone still pitching with pulse? I am and I personally love it. Even some slider sets i change it as my prefered pitching mode. The only thing is I am not walking as many batters as before, in fact I can't recall the last time I had more than two. Anyone still getting good balance?

Re: pulse pitching revisited

I gave up on pulse pitching because i found it far to accurate. Though I have heard it has been made harder after the patch, is this correct?

I don't know if that is correct or not. But walks either at the plate or on the mound is something that really can't be controlled with sliders. You can't give in, you have to stay on the corners. If you can get through games without walking people that means you can stay in the strikezone too much and should probably up the cpus hitting some.

Let me ask you this question if its a 3-1 count what pitch are you probably going with and where?

Re: pulse pitching revisited

I can't seem to walk anyone. I throw 80-85% strikes, regardless of which pitching style I use!

Re: pulse pitching revisited

You gotta throw to the corners man. Don't throw strikes and expect balls you have to intentionally walk some batters without intentionally walking them.

I understand what you mean, but it dosnt change the fact that with pulse pitching I don't throw pitches to areas due to mistakes, as in unintentional walks.

Just trying to clearify, you don't throw to areas because of giving up walks or because of getting it smashed?

I'll throw it to the corners keeping it slightly in the zone, the trouble is with pulse it is to easy to get the circle small, i think the smallest circle should be bigger.
