I'm loving the pulse pitching and getting realistic results. It's not as hard as I thought it was going to be from reading other people's posts here, but is challenging nonetheless. Great game this year!

***PULSE PITCHING TIP FOR BETTER ACCURACY AND LESS HEADACHES!!**

Okay, PP'ers. Here is your PP tip of the day.

When you select your pitch, and your pulsing meter begins to hypnotize you with its rhythmic dance, count out the pulses to yourself with the number falling on the pulses largest expanse.

I typically count it out to 5 to get the rhythm down, and when you say "five" to yourself, hit the X button. I would say that 8 times out of 10, you'll get the small circle you are hoping for.

Remember that the pulses will change between pitches, your confidence, and the guy at the plate. That is why the counting works so well, as you can count it out (in your head) for each pitch you throw, as the cadence will be different.

This worked wonders for me last night, and I have become more consistent with the locations.

Good Luck!!

I am going to settle in with analog for the long haul. Pulse pitching is nice but analog is a little more interactive which I like. Probably will use pulse from time to time to switch it up a little.

I am lovin' pulse pitching. Here's why:

> The unpredictability adds even more realism to the experience. I almost got too good at Analog and Meter. Now, my pitches don't always go exactly where I want.

> I've walked a few people. Which almost never happened before.

> I like the added level of stress. Pitching gets a little mindless w/ the Analog.

Right now I'm on Veteran, as All-Star was a little too fast for entry-level.
I think I'll stick with it all year long.

If thats why you like PP, you should try "Classic"

For you players counting the pulses: are you counting the expansion or the contraction of the circle as a pulse?

I count on the expansion, and that's seeming to work for me fairly well.

I love the Analog pitching, but once again have too much control. I adjusted the sliders for Accuracy and Consitency down to zero on both, and just threw a game with Lester with no walks...

Maybe I will mix in one PP game within the series. So if the Sox are playing a three game set with the Yanks, one of the games will be Pulse Pitching, and the other two are Analog.

And maybe to make it even more fair, I go on a 5 man rotation, so each PP game is whoever's turn it is next. Lester is my #1, so when the schedule gets back through to Beckett's start, he PP's and down the line...

I want to use it, maybe just to keep the game fresh, and for a little added drama to the control portion..
