Releasing players to free agent

Could anyone pls help me how to put players into free agent?? I am currently playing season mode. I tried to use CPU Roster Control, however, players can be only removed from 40 men rosters.

RELEASE PLAYER
It's the third down the list on the MANAGE ROSTER screen after you click on a player. Right after EDIT PLAYER(I'm not yelling...those are on screen options that I'm capitalizing.)

sorry, do you know how to put CPU roster to free agents?

The only way you can do that is with 30 team control to start your season/franchise.
