The Show - worth buying a PS3 for?

Both consoles are virtually identical graphically. I have both prefer the PS3 for the exclusives like The Show and Uncharted. This time around I only plan on picking up the PS4.

Lol yeah! I think it is mainly because Xbox came out first and kind of won this last generation so many gamers just have an Xbox. Then they are also a baseball fan and want The Show. There are other great exclusives too for the PS3 and I have seen people on other video game forums asking about getting the system just for Uncharted or Heavy Rain and really unless you are a huge Halo fan the Playstation exclusives are just so much better than Xbox.

For me, I just don't have time to put into multiple video games, so I play the one I like the most.

I would say no. It's a great game, easily my favorite sport game... but I don't think it's worth buying a PS3. Now the Sony exclusives, including The Show, the PS3 is easily best. I keep flipping back between 360 and PS3 as to which one my favorite system is. I have been going back and playing a lot of Sony exclusives and I would say the PS3 is my favorite system right now.

The Show is so great it keeps me from playing any other games. I always go to the console wanting to dive into a new game, but I end up playing The Show every damn time! I am addicted!

My thoughts exactly! I dont know how old u r but im prob older than u LOL! I got the ps3 about 3-4 yrs ago solely for the show now i find myself gaming less & less as i too get older. Especially since im having a 2nd daughter this week im thinking about trading in my 360 or whatever gamestop gives me since it'll prob collect dust now & the ps4 launching end of this year. I'm looking to most likely get the ps4 & just keep playing the show....till i die LOL! Baseball is also my favorite sport along w hockey but i can always get EA nhl on the ps4....it's FREE to play online! As u get older ur priorities change...but BASEBALL will always be in my heart!!!
