Stealing with Auto Baserunning

Did they remove the ability to manually steal with auto baserunning, or am I crazy?

You are correct, you can no longer lead off or steal with auto baserunning

Does that mean the computer has control of it? or that the human team will never lead off or steal at all w/ auto turned on?

Not sure, I haven't seen the AI attempt to steal yet but it's only been 3 games so it's too early to say for certain.

I hope this is just a bug and will be fixed with a patch...I can't imagine they would change something like that on purpose.

Not happy at all about this and yes they will ATTEMPT steals on there own which really sucks

I hope this is a bug too. I've seen guy stealing who shouldn't be. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why its not working as MLB 13.

I personally like playing this way with the CPU controlling my leadoffs and steals, I like to let the game play out according to ratings as much as I can beyond hitting and pitching. I do believe it would be optimal if we had a toggle we could select to manually control leading off and steals though. I just don't want them to remove auto stealing I kinda like it.

Hopefully they add in the option instead of replacing it. This is how auto baserunning was done in either 11 or 12, I actually enjoy it more like this.

Same here. I like being on an even playing field with the CPU. It's too easy to exploit baserunning.

I love the idea of the CPU stealing for me and I think that's what they're going with here. Except it's broken.

4 games (QC's) and my team:

Did: Lead off on their own and attempted 2 steals.

Did not: Attempt steals on 3-2, runner at first, 2 out situations.

Decent idea if working as intended but not stealing on 3-2 force counts has to be a glitch.

Not a fan so far. I've had Puljols attempt a steal (he actually made it because the catcher dropped the ball) with Hamilton up on an 0-0 count and then 2 guys get picked off. I really wish this would have been a feature you could turn on-off.

Its driving me crazy I am used to having it on auto sick of the CPU being a ****** and getting picked off and stealing on just about anything.

Picked off 4 times in 3 games which is ridiculous. Plus you have no idea if your guy is going. No hit and run sign or take a pitch, nothing. I hate this new version. We should at least have the option.
