Historic project

I've never done this before so I'd love some help to see if it's possible. I want to basically make a roster set of an entire MLB with different teams from different years plugged into each slot. So, right away...
1. Is there a way to import teams and a limit to how many you can import into a roster file?

Then I want to be able to play/simulate a whole season with that roster set complete with playoffs. So...
2. Anyone seen any weird crash bugs with this kind of thing? Anyone even as much of a stats and simulation nerd to try this?

Thank you!

Re: Historic project

You cannot import whole teams.
You have to do it player by player...by player by player.
Tedious but doable.

Wowzers.. ok. So a whole league is probably more work than I'm imagining. Plus how do you even keep the players straight that you download? Are they named in a way that is easy to recognize?

Re: Historic project

In the list that's available of classic teams here on OS, since those are MLB 14 rosters, does that mean I can get MLB 14 and still find those in the vault for that game? I can't get the years I need, so they obviously haven't been ported.

Re: Historic project

Some are only for MLB 14 but most are for Both MLB 14 & 15 in that list.

Those with the "***" are for MLB 15 and likely MLB 14 as well.

Those without the "***" are for MLB 14 Only at this point

CLASSIC SEASON ROSTERS (Completed for MLB 14 / ***=MLB 15):

Ok, I didn't understand the asterisk thing until you explained it. So the one I need isn't in 15. Ok. So this gets complicated. I wanted to try to put a roster together of some of the best Blue Jays teams. So I could play tournaments with them. But it looks difficult.
