Get access to the FA list and move guys onto teams to edit rosters outside of franchise. I can't seem to access the FA list when trying to edit a few, small things.

Go to Roster Control under Options. The click Roster Control, Select team then Player Movement. Then hit L1 or R1 to scroll to FREE AGENTS.
