25 or 40 man rosters?

I'm trying to decide if I want to use the 25 or 40 man OSFM roster to start a franchise and need some advice......I'm not so concerned about lineups being changed by the cpu.....but in years past one of the options required burning player options.....I just can't remember which one it was....

Any help would be appreciated....thanks

Thanks for the reply......is that to mean the 25 man will burn the player options....or the 25 man is the one that will avoid burning the extra player option?

You want to use 40 man rosters, otherwise there will be plenty of players that the cpu will never bring up in the first year.
