That my issue with games. It take two was sweaty at some points. I like with MLBTS u can write ur own Story. Wish NHL would have Editing in Franchise.

I’ve been on Operation Sports for a lonnnnngggg time. I’ve got the game downloading now. If you see me playing, don’t beat me too bad.
Same age, I just wish I would only buy 2 games a year. We have seen the video game version of baseball change over the years. I started with the hand held with the red dots and I'm here now! I remember thinking 2K titles on the original Xbox looked real. Crazy how things have changed. Happy gaming.

Honestly, I’m surprised by some of the ages that you guys are still playing at. I thought I was an old gamer at 45.

Re: 52 Years Old and I Still Love This Game!!!

Just turned 50 in December. Been playing baseball and baseball video games since 86. Watched baseball until 2020, empty stadiums and covid bummed me out and I didn't watch baseball or play the show till 24' loved the game, and enjoyed the season. I followed the Oakland A's last season in Oakland, and play a Las Vegas A's franchise after skipping the 2024 season I moved the team to Vegas, built a Custom MGM park, and played 2.4 seasons of every inning every pitch. I made the playoffs in 2026 and lost the wildcard series. I had a blast with the gameplay, and looking forward to the show 25

48 and have been playing video game baseball since Hardball on Commadore 64. MVP 2005 was a massive time sink for me on PS2 and PC with mods from MVP Mods.

Excited to start another Cubs dynasty with The Show.

Re: 52 Years Old and I Still Love This Game!!!

I'm 57 and just started gaming again after learning guitar for many years. I'm considering buying MLB The Show and am curious how long a typical game takes to play?

I loved High Heat back in the day, and loved that it took (I believe, if memory serves) about 25 minutes to play an entire game. That was a good amount of time if one wanted to play through all 162 games in a season.

Thank you in advance!
