Ya know, if ya keep flailing at change-ups out of the zone, the computer keeps throwing em.......:-)

I had a huge problem with them at first, but now I'm getting better at judging them.

I'll sometimes try to counter a steady diet of offspeed stuff by using guess pitch. Early in the count I'll guess zone only and only swing if it's in that spot.
If you get a couple of knocks you can lower their confidence in the pitch.
The games I really get shut down the pitcher works confidence up on all of his pitches. Seems like then he commands the corners.

LOL reading through this thread!

Glad I'm not the only one having a large amount of difficulty, lol! My average through 6 franchise games is like .198 with the Yankees

I input these changes from the spreadsheet to Redsfan's hybrid roster for my Franchise, and I have definitely seen a change for the better. My strikeouts have dropped a good amount in my new Franchise using these.

I use Zone and protect against the low junk...

If I sense the pitch is coming in higher, I simply release the L3...

It reorients back up to it's default setting...

That being said, I'm also using Redsfans roster, which has a lot of pitch edits...

The "15 Drop" is nonsense...

I struggled with them to start in this game, but now I am starting to get them a lot. I don't have any trick to hitting them, I just have learned what they look like a lot sooner. If you watch real close you can see the speed difference right out of the pitchers hand. I still get fooled by them, but it is a lot better now.

I suck and use pitch speed at 0. I don't have any issues

Re: Okay, we have to talk about it. Changeups.

There really is no magical answer that can help with hitting changeups. The trick is really to be guessing for the pitch to come.

Changeups have gotten me several times, but there have been others where I've waited on changeup and blasted it out of the park.
