we can't pinch hit a pitcher for a DH correct? so your saying if we pinch hit for a OF on the Angels in the first innings (its the only way to get a pitcher in the lineup and earliest) that he would have to go to the mound?? I thought the starter would keep pitching anyway. because he hasn't been replaced

You can PH a pitcher for the DH, you just can't start a pitcher at DH. Pinch hitting with a pitcher in the AL would never trigger him having to go to the mound, regardless if it is OF or DH.

I don’t think that is true. You can pinch hit or pinch run for the DH and that player is allowed to continue being the DH for the rest of the game. Are you saying that if you use a pitcher to do this in The Show, it automatically puts them on the mound?

According to MLB rules there are two ways you can “lose” the DH:

1: if the player who starts the game as the DH moves into the field.

2: is a pinch hitter bats for any player in the lineup and then moves to the mound to pitch.

I always use NL teams so Im not sure how the game handles AL stuff like that.

the Show doesnt track start stats for position players anyway, only pitchers.
for position players it only tracks total games played and amount of innings.

If it was as easy as just making it so it’s a option in the lineup menu, it would have been done last year when we had a 2 player.
