Re: PlayStation Underground RTTS video

Glad to hear that the slowdown off the batted ball is an option (4:00). Not a fan.

Lackluster. Looks exactly like 17 to me. Same animations in game, just dressed up the interaction screen a little. Plus how does the kid know if he’s ready for double A ball if he’s never played single A?

You don't have to play it then. There you go.

Still allowed to have an opinion on the news without being told "don't play it then."

Re: PlayStation Underground RTTS video

One thing I'm curious about is how power and contact are going to be increased. I know Ramone's saying that he gets power bonuses from power swinging (which makes sense), but what happens if I hit a HR with a normal or even contact swing? And is there a power increase for gap doubles/triples?

Two things that are going to be extremely gratifying to improve are my Vision and Plate Discipline, because I enjoy working counts and getting quality at-bats. Seems like you gain plate discipline for every Ball taken (not just walks), so that could improve pretty fast if you have a good batting eye.

Really enjoyed that video. The slowdown off the bat and that weird no-reaction infield play at the end were the only things that bothered me.

Can't say it looks exactly like 17 when it clearly isn't.

Re: PlayStation Underground RTTS video

Looks good. I’m a fan of the progressing and increasing attributes through on field results.

I don’t know how I feel about the Caps yet but it will depend on how strict they are.

I just hope you can still create a Nolan Arenado Player. Great hitter and spectacular fielder.

Also wondering if you have to power swing to increase Power. I rarely use power swing so I don’t want to be forced to use it just to increase my attributes.
