Re: MLB The Show 18 The Little Things

One little thing for me is how fluid swing and misses are, especially on strike outs. It doesn’t seem as awkward, and is much more fluid.

Love how, pitching with DeGrom at Citi Field, a fan holds up a sign that includes “#hairbegone”

Absolutely love the new strikeout animations.

As mentioned before, they just look so much more fluid and realistic. Also love the flexing of the fingers whilst holding the bat.

Such small things but really make a difference.

I love my RTTS players and on the PS4 Pro like WOW it is amazing looking. Anyway I am batting with my LF AA player for the Mobile Bay Bears ( Anaheim Angels farm club ) and I get a single and while I am on first base Matty V comments that I now had a 13 game hitting streak which he said was appropriate as I am wearing the number 13. How cool is that !!!

I really like how theme 1 and 2 have a few smalll differences, like how the pitchers stats are layed out under the scorebug and the replay swipes for example. Theme 2 is my favorite.

From what I can tell, I'm pretty sure Theme 1 is supposed to be mimicking the NBC/AT&T broadcast package and Theme 2 is supposed to be the FOX ringer. There are striking similarities.

I love it, I'll switch back and forth depending on who carriers what team when I'm on the road.

I feel I should post an update on this. I found that I can play the game and it crashes to the XMB after the post game menu. (I've repeated it twice)

However, if I sim the game everything seems fine afterwards. I can save the franchise in 18 and all is well. This was a spring training game, so simming was not a big deal. Out of game saves work just fine on Y2Y continuation.

I love the more personalized presentation elements. This includes calling the first and third base umpires by name on check swing appeals, etc.

To add to this, you are now able to assign SotS to different themes, so you could technically assign those broadcast themes to those for added effect.
