Abreu has a great 2 year contract which makes good value.

Not getting Abreu without giving up McManhon.

So Abreu and Jones for

Tapia, #2, #5, #24/25

Honesty Tapia is blocked and both teams have an abundance of OF prospects. So he could probably stay and find a different prospect to throw in

$13 million in arbitration this year and then somewhere around $18 million next year is a "great" contract?

By my math Abreu had $41 million in surplus value

Talks has around $20 as a 50fv hitter, same with McMahon. Pint has around $14 as a 50fv pitcher. The other 2 are fluff, around $12 in value so you have the Rockies giving up over $65 million in value, including 2 MLB ready bats for Abreu and a reliever who can't stay healthy

I wouldn't like to hold on to McMahon if possible. And use him as a pinch hitter. I just feel I have too many left handed bats with McMahon starting everyday.

Pearson is my 7th best prospect, McGuire is 21 (batting .214 in 56 AAA ABs) and Pearce will be a 4th OF, 1B/2B depth for them after losing Braun. Pearce hasn’t played a lot for me with Teoscar up and Morales hitting well. He’s .195/.239/.464 with 7 HR in 82 ABs.

Could I get the green or red light on this deal quickly? Would like to pull the trigger or work it to a green light today!

Thanks
