If the OSFM rosters aren't able to be released this year due to some inner screw up within the game/servers...

How does the 2017 version compare to 2018? This is the first year I've played this game, so I'm already blown away by it. I'm asking, because they said that there's up to date rosters for the 2017 copy, and I'm guessing that this would be the easiest work around to having real rosters for this years season.
