Why can't we turn on DH in exhibition mode?

I was wondering if anyone knows why they don't give us the option to turn the DH on exhibition mode? I remember old games used to give us the option. You also have the option in franchise mode. I find it odd we can't turn it on in normal exhibition games.

Adding the DH to the NL has been something MLB is openly debating in future seasons. I think adding the option for the user to choose when playing MLB The Show would be fun.

I think this is under settings in the main screen... I believe there's 3 options, Off, On, Auto.

I've looked literally everywhere. Are you sure?

I've seen it in franchise mode but not in the main menu settings that are used for regular exhibition games.

I could have sworn its in the user settings, possibly under general settings... I thought it said something about DH in there.

Maybe that is just for Franchise.
