I am about to play my first Spring Training game against the Marlins as the 2022 Cardinals look to get back to the World Series.

0-1 on the year with the Phillies. Gave up 5 HR’s , lost 9-7. Some of the presentation packages are nice. Game literally looks the same as last year, commentary is louzy per usual.

Is the commentary different in other game modes? I heard it was pretty good but that could have been from people not playing in franchise?

Can someone explain how we are supposed to use shohei ohtani as a DH in franchise mode? In play now you can DH him OR have him as a SP. But in franchise he is only available to pitch or be subbed in at DH. I thought they said we can have him in our lineup in offline?

I started a new franchise and didn’t see the morale bug that is mentioned.

Morale varies from ecstatic to angry

when he's not pitching, Ohtani is the starting DH.

I've added in all the lost players in the carryover franchise and am currently playing the Marlins in the Spring Training opener.

How does carrying-over work this year? I've never done it before. I just started up a new chise in 18 with the latest edits to OSFM from the off-season. If I carry that over, how does it look? How are the contracts?

Appreciate any insight, although I'm sure I'll figure it out on my own when I play later today!

is there a list somewhere with what players will be lost? beyond a retired players list, cause sometimes leaving the pa is not related to that
