Hey guys so this is the first thread I've made on here. Im a HUGE MLB the Show guy. Bought a PS4 over an Xbox one just for the show. Ive had every show from MLB 14 on the Vita to last years version. Ive never skipped on buying it but i see a lot of people not buying it this year due to minimal changes. Im mainly a franchise guy occasional RTTS guy and realize really no changes have been made to the franchise mode. However for those who have it is it worth it? Have trade logic or AI signing logic been tweaked? Are budgets and cash flow still a disaster? I have the money to buy it but i hate the idea of giving SDS my money when they clearly dont listen to us. Do the gameplay changes warrant a purchase or should i just keep 18?

I would still get it bro, I was going to point out some really cool changes they made regarding RTTS but you said you don't play that mode much so you probably wont care. So I will say this, the contract extensions in Franchise mode is very nice little feature that needed to be there.

I would also point out that the pitch speeds and fielding have been tweaked, for the better! Uhm, from the few games I played last night, I am really enjoying this one. I know what you mean about Franchise mode as I too am a huge fan of that mode. I wish they would of put more focus on it too, but the gameplay feels really good man, I would get it.

at a cost of less than 18 cents a day, or $1.25 a week for 52 weeks, I'd say no doubt it's worth every penny, warts & all. Besides, what else am I gonna do with my money? Send it to Sally Struthers, or Sarah McLachlan?

Ya reviews seem all over the place. Some say the same game and others say better gameplay and refined

I don’t think that an argument can be made that the gameplay is the same.

Some of the features such as Franchise have not changed besides some minor installments.

I personally was on the fence and I am glad that I decided to say f it and buy.

Exactly, gameplay is very apparent to be more refined than 18, u can feel it immediately

I'm waiting until price drop for sure. Games are not worth full price.

Ya I’ll wait a month and usually a price drop like 2k19. Picking up a new Samsung 65” to play on👌
