I wonder if they’ll release a IGN video regarding franchise today or tomorrow before the developers stream?

Every new game they release, it makes me realize even more how much they half-assed the new features in the game prior.

They supposedly updated the tag system last year - this year players can now tag from any position.

They added relationships last year - this year it impacts performance in ways you may expect.

They made it where bad players get exposed last year - this year they're applying it to the throw meter and separating players even more with "choppy feet".

I would bet money next year the throw home indicator will be applied to all bases as it should have been this year.

While I understand your general point, this can be said about every sports game ever just about. Features get built upon, animations get built upon, etc. etc. Also I don't think it's wrong at times to trial balloon certain things. I tend to agree with you that the indicator should be for all bases, but until they get feedback from everyone, perhaps it's a hedge. It's something else that's not crazy in video games to do.

So building a good relationship with my first baseman will save me errors. Do people find that realistic? He's going to try harder because we like to play fortnite together?

When you know enough about each other that you can predict each other's moves?

Yes. That's how chemistry works.

I see. If it's just a matter of experience playing with eachother on the field, then I get it. The word "relationship" made me think it was outside the field but the screen shots seem to point otherwise.
