First time playing since PS2

Used to buy every year when I was a Sony guy but became a Xbox guy and now it’s finally here! Where do I even begin to start to know how to play this game again? Any thoughts?

I'm the same way and just went through this last night. If you've played a baseball game before you'll probably find a playing style that feels familiar when you start the game. Definitely use the tutorials they have in game and take your time.

Turn on dynamic difficulty and give it a few games to do its thing. You'll have much more fun and the frustration will be kept to a minimum.
