Franchise and MTO players - What’s your first move as virtual GM?

With my Cubs I’m not sure if I’m going to bring up Hoerner and make a run for it, or start selling off and restocking the farm while keeping key guys.

Always love to hear what other people’s plans are for their teams.

First move as the Reds was to trade Sean Doolittle... Never liked this guy and hated the fact that we picked him up this year... I sent him to the Mariners for two minor leaguers.

First move in my Reds franchise was just getting rid of some of the minor leaguers rated 55 or below and signing some other guys that will probably never see the majors but are still a improvement.

Next move will be finding a sucker to take on Joey Votto and his massive $22M a year contract. Would love for him to retire as a Red in game but with no DH not putting up with him for 3 more seasons.

*franchise mode*
first up, the Orioles have no leftfielder with any big league experience.
last year I moved Chris Davis to leftfield and he played over his ability.
I'm still going to use him in left this year but his overall fell even further going to 21.
I'm afraid this is his swan song for me. I'm sure I won't have him in 21.
I guess I need to take a look at renting a leftfielder from the free agent list for a season
